Job Summary:

The Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) is a senior-level sales role responsible for driving the performance and growth of the defined product portfolio within a specified zone. This position oversees a regional sales team, ensuring execution of customer-centric strategies and achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a customer-focused business plan in collaboration with frontline managers and cross-functional teams
- Build strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, distributors, and stakeholders in the Critical Care segment
- Monitor competition and drive performance based on company-defined metrics
- Validate feedback and field data collected by Regional Sales Managers
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage the zonal sales team effectively
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets
- Plan and execute pre-launch strategies for new product introductions
- Analyze market trends and provide strategic insights for business growth




- Ensure operational compliance and maintain high standards in customer engagement

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in pharma or healthcare sales
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry landscape
- Established network and good market knowledge preferred
- Fluency in regional language and familiarity with the assigned territory
- Experience in Critical Care segment is highly preferred
- Proven track record in sales and business development

Educational Qualifications:

- B.Pharma or B.Sc / M.Sc (Biotechnology / Microbiology preferred)
- MBA is desirable but not mandatory
