Job Summary

Astha Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with strong front-end development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in developing responsive, high-performing, SEO-friendly WordPress websites and customizing themes, plugins, and page builders according to project requirements.

The candidate should also be comfortable using AI-powered development and productivity tools to improve coding efficiency, troubleshooting, content workflows, and overall website development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites with a strong focus on UI, UX, and performance.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Work with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or similar tools.
- Write and modify HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL code as required.
- Integrate APIs, third-party tools, forms, tracking codes, and other website functionalities.
- Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
- Implement basic technical SEO, including proper HTML structure, metadata, schema basics, redirects, sitemap, and crawl-friendly website architecture.
- Perform website troubleshooting, debugging, updates, migrations, and maintenance.
- Follow WordPress security best practices, including plugin/theme updates, backups, access control, and basic vulnerability prevention.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools for coding assistance, debugging, research, documentation, and development workflows.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, content teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality websites.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices to ensure functionality and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress, web development, AI tools, performance,



security, and front-end development trends.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization.
- Valuable proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or other WordPress page builders.
- Understanding of responsive design and modern front-end development practices.
- Basic knowledge of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with website speed optimization, caching, image optimization, and performance tools.
- Understanding of WordPress security, backups, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version-control practices is an advantage.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom WordPress theme/plugin development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tracking tools.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce is a plus.
- Understanding of website security and common WordPress vulnerabilities.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively while reviewing, testing, and validating AI-generated code.
