We are looking for a Wiring Harness Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in wiring harness design and development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Siemens NX, particularly in wiring harness routing, 3D routing, and harness design for automotive or engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop wiring harnesses using Siemens NX.
- Perform 3D wiring harness routing and ensure proper routing feasibility.
- Create and modify harness layouts based on design requirements.
- Check routing for clearance, bend radius, packaging,
and serviceability.
- Work on harness routing through vehicle/product assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Perform design changes and incorporate engineering change requests.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, and Manufacturing.
- Support design reviews, issue resolution, and design validation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable customer and engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain relevant design documentation.
