Role Overview

This role is the visual and creative backbone of our weddings.

As a Wedding Designer / Visualizer, you will translate client emotions, preferences, and narratives into clear design concepts and visual directions. You are responsible for shaping how the wedding looks, feels, and flows; from the first moodboard to the final on-ground execution.

This is not just about aesthetics. It is about storytelling, spatial thinking, restraint, and detail.

You will work closely with the planning, sales, and production teams to ensure every design decision is intentional, realistic, and executable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept Development & Creative Direction

- Develop overall wedding themes, design narratives, and visual identities for each event
- Create moodboards, color palettes, material references, and styling directions
- Translate client personalities, preferences, and cultural context into design concepts
- Ensure design continuity across multiple events (Vidhi, Cocktail, Wedding, etc.)

2. Visualisation & Design Outputs

- Create visual decks for client presentations
- Design layouts for mandaps, stages, entry points, lounges, bars, and dining areas
- Provide spatial visualisation to help clients understand scale and flow
- Assist in 3D visualisation or detailed mock-ups where required (optional but preferred)

3. Client Presentations & Design Alignment

- Present design concepts confidently to clients/client service team
- Explain creative logic, material choices, and visual flow
- Take feedback constructively and refine designs without diluting intent
- Balance creative ambition with client comfort and budgets

4. Vendor & Production Coordination

- Coordinate with decor vendors, fabricators, florists, and production partners
- Share clear drawings, references, and specifications
- Review samples,



mock-ups, and material swatches
- Ensure design intent is accurately executed on ground

5. On-Ground Design Supervision

- Be present during setup to oversee design execution
- Troubleshoot visual or spatial issues in real time
- Make quick, aesthetic decisions under pressure
- Ensure the final outcome matches approved designs

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have

- 2–6 years of experience in wedding design, event design, set design, or visual styling
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with an eye for proportion, color, and detail
- Ability to conceptualise and visualise spaces clearly
- Proficiency in design tools (Canva, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator; SketchUp / 3D tools preferred)
- Understanding of Indian wedding rituals and formats

Good to Have

- Background in interior design, architecture, fine arts, or visual communication
- Experience working on destination or luxury weddings
- Knowledge of materials, fabrics, lighting, and floral design
- Basic understanding of decor costing and feasibility
