Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile/Scrum practices, support cross-functional teams, and ensure effective delivery of projects. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Agile methodologies, team coordination, stakeholder communication, and removing impediments.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Guide the team in following Agile and Scrum principles.
- Remove or escalate impediments that affect team productivity and delivery.
- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Track sprint progress, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile best practices.
- Support the team in achieving sprint and project goals.
- Coordinate with developers, testers, business teams, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate project risks and delivery challenges.
- Prepare and maintain Agile metrics and reports such as Burndown/Burnup charts, velocity, and sprint reports.
- Encourage collaboration, transparency, accountability, and self-organization within the team.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong facilitation, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
- Good understanding of software development and SDLC processes.
- Robust problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
