Role & responsibilities

- Teach English to PU College / 11th and 12th standard students.
- Plan and deliver engaging classroom lessons according to the academic syllabus.
- Teach English grammar, literature, comprehension, writing and communication skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments and classroom activities.
- Conduct regular tests, examinations and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Help students improve their spoken and written English.
- Prepare students effectively for board examinations.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide guidance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, examinations and other college activities.
- Coordinate with other faculty members and the academic department.
- Maintain student attendance, marks and academic records as required

Preferred candidate profile

- M.A. in English preferred.
- B.Ed qualification will be an added advantage.




- Freshers with excellent English communication and teaching ability may also apply.
- Candidates with PU College / PUC / 11th12th teaching experience will be preferred.
- Strong command of English grammar, literature and communication.
- Good classroom management and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
