Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Test & Validation Engineer with expertise in Connected Automotive Architectures. In this role, you will be doing end-to-end integration and automated validation of next-generation Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) running on both Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Embedded Linux chipsets. You will bridge the gap between in-vehicle ECU communication and off-board IoT Cloud Platforms, ensuring flawless connectivity, diagnostics, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- VCU & ECU Testing: Design, build, and execute functional, integration, and performance test suites for Linux and Android-based Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) on

target silicon (Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, TI, etc.).
- Cloud & Telematics End-to-End Validation: Validate seamless bidirectionality between the in-vehicle gateway/VCU and Cloud IoT platforms (GCP,AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or

custom MQTT brokers) for telematics, remote commands, data ingestion,



and cloud-side analytics.
- OTA & Security Verification: Test end-to-end Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware/software updates, security profiles (TLS, PKI, Secure Boot), and fault-recovery/rollback mechanisms on VCU hardware.
- Diagnostics & Logging: Validate unified diagnostic services and analyze system-level logs via ADB, Android logcat, Linux dmesg, and serial consoles.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

Core Technical Stack:

- Operating Systems: Android Automotive OS (AAOS / HAL / Vehicle Properties), Embedded Linux (Yocto, Kernel modules, System services).
- Hardware & Chipsets: Exposure to automotive-grade SoCs/microcontrollers from vendors like Qualcomm (Snapdragon Automotive), NXP (S32/i.MX), Renesas (R-Car), or Texas Instruments.
- Vehicle Communication: CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDS (ISO 14229), DBC files.
- IoT & Cloud Protocols: MQTT, HTTP/REST APIs, WebSockets, Protobuf, JSON, AWS IoT Core, or Azure IoT Hub.

Experience & Mindset:

- Domain Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in automotive embedded system validation, connected vehicle platform testing, or telematics ECU development.
- Robust troubleshooting skills across software, hardware interfaces, and network layers.
