Role & responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Manam Chocolate standards.

- Standardising beverages recipes within the team.

- Inventory management through software.

- Documentation- checklists, calibration reports, inventory reports, breakage reports and any more checklist / report that might be needed.

- Responsible for Periodic team trainings.

- Responsible for Curating Beverages.

- Responsible for Customer interaction.

- Ensure effective communication within the organisation.

- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of beverages.

- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other caf equipment efficiently.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and work area.

- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner to ensure a premium guest experience.

- Recommend beverages and assist customers with menu selections.

- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients and report shortages.

- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

- Coordinate with the caf team to ensure smooth daily operations.





- Support in training junior baristas or caf staff if required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, latte art, and manual brewing techniques.

- Experience working with professional coffee machines and grinders.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced caf environment.

- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Education/ Qualification:

- Diploma/Certification in Hospitality, Barista Training, or Food & Beverage Service preferred.

- Any graduate with relevant caf experience may also apply.

Experience:

- Minimum 1+ years of experience in premium cafs, restaurants, or specialty coffee brands.

- Experience in Artisan Coffee or Specialty Caf Brands will be an added advantage.
