Role & responsibilities

- Supervise daily service operations on the floor to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality customer service.

- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist them in selecting food and beverages while upholding brand tone and service standards.

- Train and guide service associates, stewards, and support staff to ensure excellent performance and adherence to SOPs.

- Ensure table setups, cleanliness, and place are always maintained to the highest standard.

- Coordinate between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food delivery and address any service delays or guest concerns.

- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.

- Maintain proper inventory of service equipment, menus, linens, and other service-related materials.

- Support the Reporting Manager in staff briefing, feedback sessions, and on-the-job training.

- Ensure all F&B; service staff are well-groomed, punctual, and aligned with Manams brand ethos.

- Monitor billing processes and ensure accurate POS entries.

- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety,



and operational standards (FSSAI norms, internal audits, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

Education/ Qualification:

- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management from a recognized institute.

Experience:

- 1 to 6 years of experience in F&B; service, with as a supervisory or captain-level role in premium hotels, restaurants or caf.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Knowledge of F&B; products, menu pairing, and service etiquette.

- Proficient in POS systems and basic billing processes.

- High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle service peaks calmly.
