STIC (SAREC, Mirzapur Technology & Innovation Community) is a student-led, faculty-mentored technology and innovation community at SAREC.

Our Vision

To build a student-driven technology ecosystem where every student can Learn, Build, Collaborate and Innovate.

STIC focuses on DSA & CP, AI/ML, Web & App Development, Cybersecurity, Cloud & DevOps, Open Source, Projects, Research, Hackathons, Technical Events and Community Building.

What will STIC Volunteers do?

Volunteers will work with the Executive Council and Core Team and may contribute to:

Technical events, workshops & seminars

Hackathons & coding competitions

Project and open-source activities

DSA/CP and technical learning sessions

Community building & student outreach

Event management & on-ground coordination

Promotion, content, design & documentation

Registration, communication and participant support

New technical ideas and initiatives

Volunteer does not mean only event management. You can contribute according to your skills and interests—technical, creative,



organisational or community-based.

Growth Path

Volunteer → Active Contributor → Core Team → Leadership Opportunities

Volunteers who consistently contribute, take ownership, show teamwork, communicate well and successfully handle responsibilities may be considered for Core Team responsibilities based on STIC's selection/evaluation process. New Core Team members may undergo a 30–45 day contribution/probation period.
