VMC Operator

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
- Set up machines, workpieces, tools, fixtures, and offsets.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Load and unload components safely and accurately.
- Set and adjust cutting tools, tool offsets, and machine parameters.
- Monitor the machining process and maintain required production targets.
- Inspect finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Identify machining defects and report machine/process issues to the supervisor.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Follow production, quality, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements:





- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.
- Fresher and Experience as a VMC Operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and basic machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions/tolerances.
- Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, and basic machine parameters.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good attention to quality and measurements.
