VMC Operator

We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate Vertical Machining Centre machines and manufacture components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate VMC machines efficiently and safely.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Perform machine setup, tool setting, and component loading/unloading.
- Set and adjust tool offsets and wear offsets.
- Monitor machining processes and maintain required production output.
- Inspect components using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Make minor offset corrections as required.
- Identify and report machine, tool, and quality issues.




- Maintain production and quality standards.
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Required Skills
- VMC operating and basic setting knowledge.
- Engineering drawing reading.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Knowledge of tool offsets.
- Willingness to work in shifts.

Salary depending on experience and skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with VMC/CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or engineering company will be preferred.
