Role Description This is a full-time Videographer role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and deliver high-quality video content for films, campaigns, and visual storytelling projects, collaborating closely with directors, producers, and creative teams.

Responsibilities include operating cameras, setting up and adjusting lighting, capturing both planned and spontaneous footage, and ensuring visual consistency with project concepts and brand guidelines. The role also involves participating in pre-production discussions, location recce, and basic on-set coordination to maintain smooth production workflows. The Videographer is expected to bring a strong creative perspective,



attention to detail, and a commitment to crafting visually compelling work that aligns with 8Collectives’ ethos.

Qualifications

- Solid video production skills, including planning shoots, executing production workflows, and collaborating with creative and production teams.
- Proficiency in camera operation and handling different types of camera equipment suited for narrative and campaign work.
- Solid understanding of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor environments, with the ability to design and adjust lighting setups.
- Hands-on experience shooting video across formats (short-form, long-form, campaigns) with an eye for composition, movement, and storytelling.
- Knowledge of basic video editing and post-production workflows; familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, contribute visual ideas, and maintain consistency with a project’s tone and style.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or visual communication is preferred; a strong portfolio or showreel is essential.
