Full-Time Video Editor (Davinci/Premiere Pro/Adobe) - Vealeo Media

We're looking for an exceptional Video Editor who can craft high-quality, visually sharp, story-led short-form content on desktop editing software. This role requires someone who intuitively understands editing language and narrative beats, is self-directed in ideation and execution, and can consistently deliver work that matches the level of the reference videos attached below (knowledge of EDITING UGC ADS IS A BONUS)

What you'll do

Edit and assemble high-performance short-form video content for meta ads and social platforms, from raw footage/UGC to polished final cuts.

Translate briefs, rough ideas, scripts, and references into sharp edits with strong pacing, transitions, typography, and storytelling.

Add motion graphics and animated elements (lower-thirds, kinetic type, transitions, overlays) using After Effects to elevate edits beyond a straight cut.

Build edits with clear narrative flow, strong rhythm, and an instinctive sense of what makes content stop the scroll.

Independently develop creative directions during editing, not just execute instructions — flag better structure, pacing, or hooks where you see them.

Match reference quality with precision while adapting output to brand goals, campaign objectives, and platform-specific requirements (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.).

Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to deliver multiple assets across campaigns with speed and consistency.

Must intuitively understand editing language and narrative beats.

Must be self-directed in ideation, not just execution.

Must be able to match reference level of craft.

Strong sense of timing, pace, typography, composition, transitions, and audiovisual rhythm.

Ability to take a loose brief or visual reference and transform it into a clear, elevated edit with minimal hand-holding.

Strong understanding of what performs on modern digital platforms, especially short-form vertical video.

High attention to detail and a strong eye for craft, polish, and finish.

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing (motion graphics experience a strong plus).

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (primary tool) and After Effects; Photoshop/Illustrator a plus. Candidates who work primarily in CapCut or mobile-first tools will not be considered.

Must edit on PC/desktop — comfortable with a full NLE workflow, not mobile-editing apps.

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and iterations in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to receive, interpret, and apply feedback quickly.

Portfolio link is mandatory — only applicants with a strong editing (and ideally motion graphics) portfolio will be considered.

Portfolio must clearly demonstrate short-form content, editing quality, pacing, and storytelling ability.

Pay: ₹24,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
