Role Overview We are looking for a quick, creative video editor who lives and breathes YouTube and Instagram culture.

Your job is simple: take raw green screen footage from our office studio and turn it into highly engaging, fast-paced political commentary videos, Reels, and Shorts. You don't need to be a Hollywood VFX artist, but you do need to know how to hold an audience's attention on the internet.

What You'll Do Edit Daily Content: Cut a mix of longer YouTube videos (5-10 minutes) and snappy, 60-second vertical videos (Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts).

Green Screen

Setup & Editing: Help hit record in the office, make sure the mic sounds positive, and easily key out our green screen to drop in clean backgrounds, news articles, or relevant footage.

Keep Retention High: Add dynamic pop-up text, sound effects, B-roll, and basic visual memes to make the political commentary punchy and fast-paced.

Thumbnail Creation: Design simple, high-contrast, clickable thumbnails for YouTube.





What You Actually

Need (Qualifications) The Right Tools: Fluency in modern tools like CapCut Desktop,Da Vinci Resolve. We care about the final product, not what software you use.

Social Media Native: You intrinsically understand pacing, how to edit a "hook" for the first 3 seconds of a Reel, and what makes someone stop scrolling.

Basic Studio Chops: You know how to position a ring light or softbox so the green screen looks clean, and you know how to sync audio from a lapel mic.

Portfolio Over Paper: No specific degree required. Just send us a link to a YouTube channel or Instagram page you've edited for so we can see your pacing and style. If you need to align this streamlined role with your internal compensation bands or title structures, you can cross-reference these adjusted responsibilities with the standard levels in your Job descriptions file.
