ROLE SUMMARY:

Turns raw footage into tightly-paced, emotionally engaging video for public campaigns, from edit treatment and shot lists through storyboards to finished, correctly exported cuts, using modern AI tools where they add real value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Edit strategy: write treatment notes with a clear hook/build/peak/CTA structure and justified music tempo and colour-grade mood; build purposeful shot lists.
- Storyboarding: produce reel storyboards of 8+ frames with a hook in the first 3 seconds and a closing CTA
- Live editing: deliver 6090s edits with smooth transitions, colour correction and a 1080p aspect-ratio export
- AI & tools: apply AI tools with real rationale, solve problems resourcefully, and follow a specific QC process with realistic turnarounds.
- Storytelling: ensure every edit tells a coherent story with emotional pacing and a strong opening shot.

ELIGIBILITY :





- At least 3 years' experience of working as a video editor in a Government Department / Reputed Media House. Should have capability to create and deliver in Graphical / Animated / 3D / AI formats
- Graduate in any stream from a recognized university / institute with excellent command over English / Hindi Desirable: Diploma in Video Editing from a recognized university / institute.
- Desirable: Prior experience in government departments/ministry.

SKILLS:

- Proficiency in professional editing softwares.
- Robust sense of pacing, music and colour for emotional storytelling.
- Practical, specific knowledge of AI editing tools.
- Ability to storyboard and plan shots, not just cut existing footage.
