EduAtal is a professional education and learning platform focused on helping students and professionals build globally relevant skills and pursue international accounting and finance qualifications.

We are currently looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our marketing team and help create engaging and visually appealing content for Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms.

As a Video Editor Intern at EduAtal, you will be responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content and transforming raw footage into engaging, professional and visually appealing videos.

You will also assist during video shoots by helping the team with camera angles, framing and basic shooting requirements to ensure the footage is suitable for editing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Video Editing:

a. Edit raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and long-form videos.

b. Ensure good pacing, cuts, transitions and storytelling throughout the video.

- Graphics & Visual Editing:

a. Add subtitles, text, graphics, transitions and other visual elements.

b. Work with backgrounds, including background removal, replacement and manipulation wherever required.

c. Use B-roll, images, music and sound effects to enhance the video.

- Video Shooting Assistance:

a. Assist the team during video shoots.

b. Suggest appropriate camera angles, framing and positioning for better footage.

c. Help ensure that the raw footage is suitable for the final edit.

- Audio & Colour:

a. Perform basic audio editing and enhancement.

b. Have a basic understanding of colours, colour correction and visual consistency.

- Content Delivery:

a.



Edit videos according to the monthly content calendar.

b. Complete assigned videos within the given timelines and incorporate feedback when required.

Qualifications:

- Graduate in any field; candidates currently pursuing their degree may also apply.
- Basic proficiency in at least one video editing software.
- Good understanding of video editing, cuts, transitions and pacing.
- Basic understanding of colours and visual composition.
- Knowledge of background removal, replacement and manipulation.
- Creative approach towards video editing and storytelling.
- Ability to work from office and collaborate with the team during shoots and editing.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates with a video editing portfolio or previous editing experience will have an added advantage.

Selection Process

Round 1 – Video Editi ng Round:Candidates will be provided with a raw video, which they will be required to edit in their best possible way. The candidate’s editing skills, creativity, storytelling, visual treatment and overall execution will be evaluated.

Round 2 – Virtual Interview:

Candidates shortlisted from the video editing round will be invited for a face-to-face interview.

Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance across both rounds.
