The Newtown School is looking for an experienced and energetic Vice Principal to work closely with the Principal in driving academic excellence, teacher performance, student development and smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities -

- Support the Principal in academic and institutional leadership and day-to-day school administration.
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes.
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, assessments and academic guidelines.
- Lead, mentor and develop teachers, Coordinators and Heads of Departments.
- Monitor academic performance and implement initiatives to improve teaching and learning.
- Oversee student discipline, well-being and overall development.
- Engage effectively with parents and other key stakeholders.
- Support CBSE compliance, documentation and inspections.

Candidate Profile Requirement -





- 15+ years of experience in school education, with strong CBSE school experience – essential.
- Minimum 5 years in a school leadership role such as Vice Principal, Academic Head, Headmistress/Headmaster or Senior Coordinator – essential.
- Postgraduate qualification with a Science background – essential.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, assessment and school systems.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring academic teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational and people-management skills.
- Ability to partner with the Principal while independently taking ownership of key responsibilities.
- Candidates aged 40–50 with experience in reputed CBSE schools will be preferred.
