FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Vice President - Office Construction for a leading real estate company. The job location is Bangalore.

NOTE: For this mandate, we are seeking only Expat candidates.

Role overview: The Vice President - Office Construction will be responsible for establishing and leading a dedicated project management and execution function for the Office Division. The role will work closely with the group construction function while leveraging existing shared services across procurement, contracting, and quality control.

Key responsibilities:

- Build a long-term, sustainable delivery team: Recruit, train and retain a specialist office construction team across BLR, HYD and CHN, bringing global EHS, reporting and programme management standards into client’s office delivery engine
- Proactive day-to-day site Management: Real-time programme visibility, early-warning systems and data-driven dashboards - not post-facto reporting. Decision-making at site level, not through layers
- Global Institutional Standards: Design and implement EHS, quality and reporting frameworks that will satisfy REIT grade scrutiny and the due diligence expectations of large IT and banking financial services
- Occupier-facing Credibility: Be the face of delivery for global enterprise clients.



Walk all site with the constructions and occupier delivery team the way any International Project Director would, with authority and data
- Operational Readiness: Drive all delivery timelines with the quality standards that is expected from any global institutional office, developer with standards shell & core handovers and fit-out coordination to ensure committed operational dates are met without compromise

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor of Civil engineering
- 20 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in managing at least two end-to-end construction projects, overseeing the complete project lifecycle from excavation through to final handover
- Strong experience in the construction of commercial office buildings and high-rise office developments
- The candidate should demonstrate career stability and consistent tenure in previous roles
