The Vibe Coder (Claude Code) at OpenBI is responsible for rapidly building and shipping high-quality software solutions using AI-assisted development workflows, with a strong preference for Claude Code. This role involves converting ideas into working prototypes, building internal tools and web applications, integrating APIs, and ensuring clean, secure, maintainable delivery.

The Vibe

Coder will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that accelerate operations and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, design, and maintain full-stack web applications (frontend, backend, database).

- Use Claude Code as a core development workflow to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and documentation.

- Translate business requirements into simple, scalable technical implementations.

- Integrate third-party services and APIs (authentication, webhooks, messaging, CRMs, payments, etc.).

- Ensure basic security practices: secure secrets handling, access control, and safe data usage with AI tools.

- Write clean, structured, maintainable code with practical documentation.

- Deploy applications and manage iterations based on feedback (bug fixes, improvements, performance tuning).

- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver quick prototypes and production-ready features.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year experience (or equivalent project work) in building web applications or software products.





- Strong fundamentals in programming and debugging.

- Hands-on experience with at least one up-to-date stack such as:

- Frontend: React / Next.js

- Backend: Node.js / Python (FastAPI/Django)

- Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB

- Actively uses AI coding tools, with preference for Claude Code (must be comfortable demonstrating workflow).

- Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset.

- Proficiency in speaking English confidently, with the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly in English.

Desirable

- Robust proof-of-work: shipped projects, live demos, open-source, or meaningful GitHub repos.

- Experience with deployments (Vercel/AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and CI/CD basics.

- Experience building automation workflows (n8n / Make / Zapier).

- Knowledge of secure coding practices (auth, RBAC, secrets management, OWASP basics).

- Exposure to LLM-based apps (LLM APIs, prompt engineering, basic RAG concepts).

- Ability to deliver solutions independently with minimal support, showing strong initiative and speed.
