We maintain an on-site clinic on a sprawling 15-acre farm located in rural Bengaluru, to ensure our 58 dogs receive top-tier medical attention. We are dedicated to providing a safe, natural, and high-quality setting for our dogs.

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to work closely with our veterinarian and ensure the daily health, happiness, and well-being of our dogs.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Medical Support:

- Assist the Veterinarian: Help the vet during daily clinical checkups, medical examinations, and treatment procedures.
- Animal Restraint: Safely and compassionately handle and restrain dogs during vaccinations, blood draws, wound dressings, and treatments.
- Medication Administration: Administer oral medications, supplements, and topicals as directed by the veterinarian.

Daily Care & Husbandry:

- Feeding & Nutrition: Prepare and distribute meals according to specific dietary charts for 58 dogs, ensuring clean water is always available.
- Grooming: Perform routine grooming, including bathing, brushing, tick/flea checks, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
- Exercise & Monitoring: Supervise the dogs during farm playtime, ensuring safe socialisation and tracking any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels.

Sanitation & Maintenance:





- Clinic Cleaning: Sterilise medical equipment, clean treatment tables, and maintain a spotless clinic environment.
- Enclosure & Farm Hygiene: Clean, scoop, and sanitise the dogs' living spaces, bedding, and feeding areas daily to prevent infections.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working as a vet assistant, paravet, or handler in a vet clinic, shelter, or boarding facility. (A formal Diploma in Animal Husbandry/Paravet course is a huge plus).
- Dog Handling Skills: Confident and gentle handling skills for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to thrive in an outdoor, active, 15-acre farm environment, which involves lifting, walking, and being on your feet.
- Language: Basic communication skills in Telugu/Tamil and/or English to coordinate effectively with the vet and farm staff.
- Passion: A genuine love for animals and a deep commitment to canine welfare.
