Job Title: US Accounting Manager

nDescription:

nWe are looking for an experienced US Accounting Manager to manage end-to-end US accounting operations, oversee accounting teams, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support US clients with their accounting and compliance requirements.

nKey Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end US accounting and bookkeeping operations.
n
- Oversee General Ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing.
n
- Review and prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
n
- Ensure accurate accounting according to US GAAP.
n
- Manage and review accounts payable, receivable, accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
n
- Handle payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
n
- Support US tax compliance, including sales tax and 1099-related requirements.
n
- Review work performed by accountants and ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
n
- Manage client communication and resolve accounting-related queries.
n
- Prepare financial reports,



MIS and management reports.
n
- Identify process improvements and implement accounting controls.
n
- Lead, mentor and manage the accounting team.
n
- Coordinate with US clients, CPAs, auditors and internal stakeholders.
n

nRequired Skills:

n

n
- Solid experience in US Accounting & Bookkeeping.
n
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
n
- Experience with QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online is preferred.
n
- Knowledge of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations and financial reporting.
n
- Exposure to US tax, payroll and compliance.
n
- Strong client-management and communication skills.
n
- Prior experience managing a team is required.
n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
n

nPreferred Candidate Profile:

n

n
- CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent.
n
- 7+ years of relevant US accounting experience.
n
- Experience working with US clients / CPA firms / accounting outsourcing firms preferred.
