Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven UAT Testing Analyst to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for our accounting workflow and automation platform.

The ideal candidate will be a Commerce Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting processes and exposure to ERP systems or accounting applications. The role will be responsible for validating system functionality, executing test scenarios, documenting defects, and ensuring that accounting processes such as Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and related modules function accurately before production deployment.

This is a 6-month contract position based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

UAT Testing & Validation

- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases for accounting and finance applications.
- Validate system functionality against business requirements and process documentation.
- Perform end-to-end testing of accounting workflows and transaction processing.
- Verify system calculations, validations, approvals, and reporting outputs.
- Ensure business requirements are correctly implemented within the application.

Finance & Accounting Process Testing

- Test Accounts Payable workflows including invoice processing,



coding, approvals, and payments.
- Validate General Ledger transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Test Financial Reporting functionality, report generation, and data accuracy.
- Validate master data setup including vendors, chart of accounts, entities, and approval matrices.
- Review workflow configurations and exception handling scenarios.

Defect Management

- Identify, document, and track system defects and process gaps.
- Log issues with clear descriptions, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
- Retest resolved defects and verify successful closure.
- Work closely with development and product teams during issue resolution.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
- Maintain UAT trackers and testing status updates.
- Document findings, observations, and recommendations.
- Support preparation of UAT sign-off documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Work with Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs and solution demonstrations.
- Provide feedback on usability, controls, and process improvements.
- Support business users during UAT cycles and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

Essential Qualifications





- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting concepts.
- Basic understanding of accounting systems and ERP applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Exposure to accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience in software testing or UAT activities is an added advantage.

- 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations, accounting systems support, or UAT testing.
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or Record-to-Report processes.
- Experience documenting test cases and executing UAT scenarios preferred.
- Understanding of workflow-based applications and automated business processes.
