Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Transmission Line Engineer to supervise and coordinate the execution of transmission line works for renewable energy projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality, safety, progress monitoring, contractor coordination, and ensuring that the work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor transmission line construction activities at project sites.
- Execute transmission line works including tower foundation, tower erection, stringing, sagging, and conductor installation.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Review and interpret approved drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings and project standards.
- Monitor tower foundation excavation, reinforcement, concreting, and curing activities.
- Supervise tower erection and ensure proper alignment, tightening, and installation of tower members.
- Coordinate conductor, earth wire, and OPGW stringing activities.
- Monitor sagging and tensioning activities as per approved specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical issues or deviations.
- Coordinate with the Quality and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and material records.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, tools, and materials required for transmission line execution.




- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Transmission Line Manager regarding project progress and site issues.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned activities as per the project schedule.
- Support testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Identify delays, technical constraints, and site-related issues and escalate them to management.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure workers follow approved safety procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in Transmission Line / Power Transmission / Renewable Energy EPC projects.
- Experience in 33 kV / 66 kV / 110 kV / 132 kV / 220 kV transmission line projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of tower foundation, tower erection, conductor stringing, sagging, and OPGW installation.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and civil transmission line drawings.
- Positive knowledge of site execution and contractor management.
- Knowledge of quality and HSE requirements for transmission line construction.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Experience Experience: 3–8 years in Transmission Line / Power / Renewable Energy EPC projects.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in 132 kV / 220 kV transmission line projects and renewable energy evacuation infrastructure.
