Role Overview
The Operations Analyst will support day-to-day cargo operations, stock tracking, invoice verification, and coordination with lab, port, and operations teams. The role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of operations and maintaining accurate records.
A motivated and detail-oriented fresher with a strong foundation in shipping operations and trade processes. Proficient in MS Excel and basic shipping documentation, with a keen interest in learning and contributing to the smooth execution of daily operational tasks. Demonstrates robust communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced, global logistics environment
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update daily stock reports
Verify stock data with weighment slips and supplier documents
Coordinate cargo unloading and internal shifting with the operations team
Monitor stock movement and update records accordingly
Coordinate with lab teams (MSK) for sample testing and follow up on analysis results
Maintain records of analysis reports and track key quality parameters
Validate cargo and transport invoices against stock, quantity, and agreed pricing
Identify and resolve discrepancies before processing
Check and verify shipment documents including Bill of Lading and related paperwork
Coordinate with the port team to ensure smooth cargo movement and required approvals
Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records in shared systems
Report any operational issues, stock differences, or quality concerns to management
· Manage day-to-day mineral export operations by coordinating cargo movement from stockyard to port and ensuring smooth execution of loading, transportation, and shipment activities.
· Monitor physical stock and cargo movements by reviewing truck weighment slips,
loading and unloading records, and operational data, then update daily stock and movement reports accordingly.
· Coordinate with Morocco-based teams, transporters, stockyards, port teams, and other service providers for cargo movement, loading, unloading, sampling, and shipment-related activities.
· Handle cargo sampling and laboratory coordination, including arranging samples, following up on SG, moisture, and chemical analysis results, reviewing laboratory reports, and coordinating re-analysis when required.
· Perform invoice validation for transporters, suppliers, and operational service providers by checking quantities, weighment records, agreed rates, supporting documents, and applicable adjustments before processing.
· Coordinate with the Finance team for payment processing by providing validated invoices and supporting documents, resolving discrepancies, and following up on payment status.
· Review and validate export and shipment documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, insurance documents, and other supporting documents, ensuring consistency with operational records.
· Prepare and maintain daily operational reports, stock reports, shipment summaries, cargo movement records, and management updates.
· Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including transporter follow-ups, rate verification, cargo movement planning, and resolution of operational issues.
· Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, Management, and overseas teams, to resolve operational, documentation, quantity, invoice, and payment-related issues.
· Maintain proper records and documentation for cargo, invoices, stock, shipments, laboratory results, payments, and operational correspondence for tracking and management reference.

- MS Excel: Proficient in data entry, spreadsheet management, formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis for reporting and operational tracking.
- Shipping Knowledge: Basic understanding of INCOTERMS, Bill of Lading, Letter of Credit, cargo documentation, freight terms (FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF), and vessel operations.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication; capable of coordinating with suppliers, agents, and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling shipping documents, schedules, and data.
- Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work in coordination with cross-functional teams and learn on the job.
- Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field Note The role requires close coordination with on-ground teams and regular follow-up to ensure smooth operational flow.
