- Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education classes for students.
- Teach sports, fitness, physical activities, and basic health education as per the school curriculum.
- Train and coach students in various indoor and outdoor sports.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and other sports competitions.
- Organize and manage sports events, annual sports day, and physical activities.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during sports and PE activities.
- Monitor students' physical fitness and participation in sports activities.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure its proper use and safety.
- Identify and encourage students with sports talent.
- Coordinate with the school management and other teachers for sports-related activities.
- Maintain required records related to sports, competitions, attendance, and student performance.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school management.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should have relevant TGT-level teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge and experience in multiple sports and physical fitness activities will be preferred.
- Good communication, classroom management, and student-handling skills.
- CTET/State TET qualification will be an added advantage, where applicable.
- Candidates must be willing to participate in school events, sports competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Preferred Candidate
- Surat-based candidates preferred.
- Candidates with experience in CBSE schools will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong sports coaching and event-management skills are preferred.
