We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Telecaller Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for connecting with potential customers over the phone, explaining our products/services, understanding their requirements, following up with interested prospects, and generating qualified leads.

This role is suitable for freshers or students who want to develop their communication, sales, and customer-handling skills while gaining practical work experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Complete approximately 80–120 outbound call attempts per day, depending on call duration, connectivity, and follow-up requirements.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with potential customers and understand their requirements.
- Explain the company’s products/services clearly and professionally.
- Identify interested prospects and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
- Follow up with interested customers as per the defined follow-up schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, customer responses, leads, and follow-ups.
- Update customer information and call status in the CRM/Excel/Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with the sales team for lead conversion and further discussions.
- Work towards daily and weekly calling, lead-generation, and conversion targets.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while interacting with customers.

Daily Performance Expectations The intern will generally be expected to work towards the following daily benchmarks:

- Outbound Call Attempts: 80–120 per day
- Connected Calls:



Approximately 30–60 per day
- Meaningful Customer Conversations: Approximately 15–30 per day
- Interested/Qualified Prospects: Target of 5–15 per day, depending on lead quality and campaign
- Follow-ups: Timely follow-up with all assigned interested prospects

Performance will be evaluated not only on the number of calls made but also on call quality, lead qualification, follow-up discipline, customer communication, and conversions. Current interns may initially be given lower calling targets during their training period, with targets gradually increasing as they become comfortable with the calling process and script.

Requirements

- Freshers and students are welcome to apply.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone.
- Fluency in Hindi and English is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and handle queries patiently.
- Self-motivated, punctual, disciplined, and target-oriented.
- Willingness to learn sales and customer communication techniques.
