Black & Grey HR is hiring an experienced Technical Team Leader on behalf of a leading construction contracting company (UAEbased) for their office in Bangalore, India. The role involves leading and managing technical engineering activities across multiple projects, ensuring design coordination, constructability, compliance with project standards, and highquality technical deliverables. The Technical Team Leader will play a key role in supporting BIM implementation, QA/QC processes, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the technical engineering team across various construction projects.
- Review and oversee architectural, structural, and MEP design packages to ensure coordination and constructability.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding technical and design matters.
- Support BIM coordination and ensure proper implementation of BIM standards and workflows.




- Oversee QA/QC processes related to technical submissions, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts, technical challenges, and coordination issues during project execution.
- Review and approve technical submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of technical deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Participate in technical meetings and represent the technical department in project discussions.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structure, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical design management within the construction industry.
- Strong experience in design coordination, technical reviews, and multidisciplinary project execution.
- Valuable understanding of BIM processes, QA/QC standards, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE/GCC construction project experience is preferred.
