Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Playwright . The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions, contributing to test strategy and framework development, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and contribute to automation testing initiatives using Java and Playwright .
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
- Develop automated UI and API test scripts.
- Review automation code and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
- Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and support defect resolution.
- Collaborate with development, QA, product, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.




- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Contribute to continuous integration and automation practices.

Required Skills
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in software testing/automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java .
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright .
- Experience in UI automation and test framework development.
- Positive understanding of API testing and automation.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting automation failures.
- Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Product-based company experience and educational background from reputed institutions such as IIT, NIT, or similar institutes.
