Team Lead – Investment Banking Operations Location: Gurgaon Shift: Rotational ( 5 days Working) Department: Investment Banking / Financial Markets Operations Role Overview We are looking for a Team Lead – Investment Banking Operations to manage a team of 10–15 professionals handling end-to-end financial markets and investment banking operations in a BPO/BPM/Shared Services environment. The role requires strong domain knowledge across trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, brokerage, private equity, and/or crypto/digital asset operations, along with proven people-management and clienthandling skills.

Key Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day operations and ensure accurate and timely delivery within defined SLAs, market cut-offs and quality standards.

- Manage processes such as trade processing, matching, clearing & settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, private equity capital calls/distributions, NAV activities and digital asset settlement, as applicable.
- Act as the first point of escalation for trade discrepancies, settlement failures, cash/position breaks and complex operational issues.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 10–15 analysts/associates, including performance management, training, rostering and capacity planning.
- Monitor and improve operational metrics including SLA, AHT, CSAT, Quality, Productivity, Utilization and Shrinkage.
- Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, internal controls,



SOPs and applicable financial-market regulations.
- Partner with global/onshore stakeholders, manage client queries and participate in governance/business review meetings • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency enhancement, and support new process transitions/migrations.

Required Qualifications &

Experience • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or related field.  5 years of experience in Investment Banking / Financial Markets / Brokerage / Private Equity / FinTech / Digital Asset Operations.

- Minimum 2 years of Team Lead / people-management experience.
- Strong understanding of Trade Life Cycle, Settlement, Reconciliation and financial markets operations.
- Exposure to Private Equity operations or Digital Asset/Crypto settlement is an advantage.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in rotational/night shifts aligned with global financial markets. Preferred • Experience working with international clients in a BPO/BPM/Shared Services setting.
- MBA Finance, NCFM, CISI or relevant financial-market certifications.
- Experience with process automation, RPA or continuous improvement initiatives
