About the Role

We are looking for a Team Lead – AI / Data Annotation to lead and manage a team working on AI/ML data annotation and labelling projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data annotation, LiDAR data, and AI/ML projects, along with strong team-handling and quality-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead, manage, and monitor a team of data annotators working on AI/ML projects.

 Handle day-to-day allocation of annotation tasks and ensure timely project delivery.

 Review and maintain the quality and accuracy of annotated datasets.

 Work with LiDAR data and 2D/3D annotation workflows.

 Understand AI/ML data requirements and ensure annotations meet project guidelines.

 Conduct quality checks, identify annotation errors, and provide corrective feedback to team members.

 Train and mentor new team members on annotation tools, processes, and project guidelines.

 Track team productivity, quality, attendance, and overall performance.

 Coordinate with project managers and team member to resolve project-related issues.

 Prepare and maintain daily/weekly productivity and quality reports.

 Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to increase team efficiency and accuracy.

 Ensure adherence to project SOPs, quality standards, and timelines.





Required Skills & Qualifications

 2–4 years of relevant experience in Data Annotation, Data Labeling, AI/ML, or a related field.

 Prior experience in a Team Lead / Senior Annotator / SME role is preferred.

 Strong hands-on experience with Data Annotation and Labeling.

 Experience working with LiDAR data and 2D/3D annotation is required.  Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, computer vision, and machine-learning datasets.

 Experience with annotation tools/platforms and understanding of different labeling techniques.

 Strong quality-control and attention-to-detail skills.

 Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Solid communication and team-management skills.

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict project deadlines.

 Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for productivity and reporting.

Preferred Experience

 Experience in autonomous vehicles, ADAS, computer vision, geospatial data, or similar AI projects.

 Experience working with point cloud/LiDAR annotation.

 Knowledge of bounding boxes, polygons, cuboids, segmentation, classification, and object tracking.

 Experience handling annotation quality metrics and team KPIs.
