Role Description The Tax Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai.

The Tax

Manager will oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including timely filing of returns, preparation of tax computations, and coordination with external advisors and authorities. This role will develop and implement tax planning strategies, review business transactions for tax implications, and ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.

Manager will monitor changes in tax legislation, prepare reports for management,



support audits and assessments, and recommend process improvements to enhance tax efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation to optimize tax positions and ensure accurate filings.
- Candidates should possess robust Tax Compliance and Tax Law knowledge to maintain adherence to statutory requirements and manage regulatory interactions.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of overall Tax concepts, principles, and frameworks relevant to corporate operations.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Relevant experience in corporate taxation, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex tax matters clearly.
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in MS Excel and reporting tools.
