Role & responsibilities

Role:

To design, deploy, and maintain the core data infrastructure for industrial and smart infrastructure projects. This role ensures that real-time data from field devices is accurately captured, mapped, and stored in centralized historian systems to enable enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.

Core Responsibilities:

- System Integration: Configure and manage centralized industrial software platforms and real-time data historians.
- Connectivity & Protocols: Implement field-to-platform communication using industry-standard protocols such as OPC-UA/DA, MQTT, REST APIs, and Modbus.
- Data Modeling: Execute complex data mapping and tagging to ensure seamless flow from edge devices to the supervisory layer.
- Deployment: Lead on-site and remote field deployments, ensuring system stability in Smart City or Industrial environments.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve communication gaps between field hardware (sensors/PLCs) and the software ecosystem.
- Visualization Design: Develop high-performance HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and Unified Operations Center (UOC) dashboards.
- Command & Control: Build integrated views for Control Rooms, ensuring critical data is visible and actionable for operators.
- Alarm Management:



Design and configure alarm hierarchies and notification systems to prevent "alarm fatigue" and ensure rapid incident response.
- User Experience: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational workflows into efficient digital interface designs.
- System Optimization: Refine visualization performance to ensure low-latency updates for real-time monitoring.
- Knowledge of Java, Python

Technical Skills: Knowledge of graphic design principles for industrial environments and alarm management standards (e.g., ISA 18.2).
- Domain: Experience supporting Integrated Command & Control Centers (ICCC) or large-scale industrial control rooms.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Profile:

- Must Have: Proven experience with Industrial Data Historians and SCADA-level software platforms.
- Technical Skills: Robust understanding of networking, data architecture, and industrial communication drivers.
- Domain: Experience in Smart Cities, Utilities, or manufacturing plant environments.
- Must Have: Strong background in HMI/SCADA visualization and dashboard design.
