Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator III with strong hands-on experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD). Citrix will be the primary responsibility, with secondary responsibilities across Windows Server/Wintel and VMware environments.

The candidate should have strong L3 troubleshooting capabilities and experience supporting enterprise-scale Data Center environments.

Key Responsibilities

Citrix – Primary

- Administer and troubleshoot Citrix CVAD / XenApp / XenDesktop environments.
- Hands-on experience with Delivery Controllers, StoreFront and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
- Manage MCS/PVS, desktop/server catalogs and master images.
- Configure Citrix policies, application publishing and session settings.
- Troubleshoot login, application launch, profile, printing and session issues.
- Monitor environments using Citrix Director.
- Perform VDA/Controller patching, upgrades and hotfix activities.
- Manage Citrix License Server and Citrix infrastructure.
- Support Citrix integration with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Work with Network teams on ADC/NetScaler, Gateway, Load Balancing and SSL configurations.

Windows Server / Wintel – Secondary

- Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2012 R2–2022.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Group Policy.
- Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
- AD users, OUs, permissions and service accounts.
- RDP and Windows Server troubleshooting.




- Failover Clustering and server roles/features.
- SCCM exposure is preferred.

VMware – Secondary

- VMware ESXi, vCenter and vSphere administration.
- VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots and migrations.
- HA, DRS and resource management.
- vROps / VMware Aria Operations.
- VMware patching and upgrades.
- vMotion / Storage vMotion and VM troubleshooting.
- vDS and networking exposure is preferred.
- SAN/NAS and datastore management exposure.

Automation & Operations

- PowerShell / PowerCLI scripting and automation.
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ITOM exposure.
- Documentation, reporting and incident management.
- L3 escalation and root-cause troubleshooting.
- Collaboration with Network, Storage, Security and other infrastructure teams.
- Technical guidance to junior administrators.

Required Skills

Mandatory:

- 8+ years of IT/Data Center experience.
- Strong hands-on Citrix CVAD administration.
- Experience with Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
- Experience with MCS or PVS.
- Experience with StoreFront / Delivery Controllers.
- Strong Citrix troubleshooting and L3 support experience.
- Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
- VMware ESXi/vCenter experience.
- Valuable communication and troubleshooting skills.

- SCCM
- vROps / VMware Aria Operations
- ITIL knowledge
- SAN/NAS exposure
- Citrix CCA-V / CCP-V
- VMware VCP-DCV
- Microsoft Windows Server certifications
