Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stock Manager to manage and monitor the inventory of our bakery products, including cakes, pastries, snacks, dry cakes, biscuits, and other bakery items. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring product quality and expiry, and ensuring proper stock availability across the bakery/outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain daily stock of cakes, pastries, bakery products, snacks, dry cakes, biscuits, and other inventory items.

Maintain accurate records of stock received, stock issued, stock transferred, and closing stock.

Check incoming stock for quantity, quality, freshness, and proper packaging.

Monitor expiry dates and near-expiry products and ensure proper stock rotation.

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimize wastage and prevent expiry-related losses.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile physical stock with records.

Coordinate with bakery production, outlets, and management regarding stock requirements and availability.

Monitor daily stock movement and identify shortages, excess stock, wastage, or discrepancies.

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly stock reports and inventory records.

Ensure proper storage of products according to their requirements.

Keep the stock area clean, organized, and properly maintained.





Ensure older stock is utilized first and fresh stock is properly arranged.

Report any damaged, expired, missing, or poor-quality products to management.

Coordinate stock transfers between the bakery and outlets whenever required.

Support management in maintaining optimum stock levels and reducing unnecessary wastage.

Perform any other stock-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Previous experience in stock management/inventory management, preferably in a bakery, food, restaurant, or FMCG environment.

Good knowledge of inventory handling and stock records.

Basic computer knowledge, especially Excel, will be preferred.

Positive observation and record-keeping skills.

Ability to identify quality, freshness, and expiry-related issues.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Ability to work independently and manage daily stock operations efficiently.

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Monthly :2 off provided

Location: Bathinda, Punjab

Salary: As per experience and skills.
