Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role based at Max Healthcare, Saket.
The Staff
Nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment plans, infection control practices, and post-discharge care.
The Staff
Nurse is expected to uphold ethical standards,
contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support a safe, respectful environment for patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) and current registration with the relevant nursing council.
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and bedside care in an acute or specialty setting.
- Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety protocols, and documentation standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, including flexibility for shift duties, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Competence in using hospital information systems and basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
- Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to ethical practices, and participation in training and quality improvement activities.
- Prior experience in a tertiary care or large hospital setting is an advantage but motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
