STAFF NURSE – WARD

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients admitted in the hospital ward. The candidate should be able to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary hospital environment and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to admitted patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during rounds and carry out prescribed medical instructions.
- Perform wound dressing, catheter care, IV cannulation, and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, medication charts, and other documentation.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly report to the doctor or senior nurse.
- Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and other daily care requirements.




- Maintain proper infection-control and patient-safety practices.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patient care between shifts.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and other hospital departments.
- Maintain cleanliness, availability, and proper use of ward equipment and supplies.
- Provide appropriate guidance and support to patients and their attendants.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and quality standards.

Requirements
- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Registration is mandatory.
- Previous hospital/ward experience is preferred.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge may also be considered.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing and medical team.
