Job Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for operational accounting and financial functions of the Managed Services Accounting team. This role will support the daily operations of the team, as well as, ensuring the internal control framework and accounting workflow is followed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Must have at least 3 to 8 years of accounting experience
- Manage and execute the entire month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Supports all functions of the Managed Services team including processing expense reports, preparing intercompany billbacks, preparing payroll entries, and reconciling employee badge expenses, corporate card transactions, and travel billingAssists with the month end close process, ensuring tasks are completed accurately by the given deadlines
- Prepares monthly vendor aging reconciliations
- Reviews weekly consolidated vendor billing for coding accuracy and prepares expense imports
- Prepares Amazon expense reconciliation, expense imports, and remittance statements
- Works directly with the Manager, Accounting to prepare violation reporting and provide overview of employee compliance with the companys Travel & Expense policy
- Matches corporate card transactions within expense platform, enters valid coding and descriptions, and summarizes weekly snapshot of report transaction status
- Reviews weekly expense report alerts,



proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
- Collaborates cross-functionally to streamline the flow of financial information across systems
- Engages in ad hoc projects including reporting requests and new vendor packet review

Required Candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in managing month-end close independently
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience working in remote/offshore teams is a plus
- Experience in Sage Intacct and SAP Concur preferred
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, quick-paced environment
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written)
- Possesses an elevated level of critical thinking
- Operates with an elevated level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
- High attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification required:- CA/CPA (not mandatory)

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must have minimum 3-8 year experience in same profile
- Candidate must be comfortable working in night shift
- This is a remote WFH opportunity
- High speed internet and power backup required
- Experience with US GAAP or working with US-based clients
