Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead L2 Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS and automation using Python and/or Ansible. The candidate will be responsible for L2 production support, incident and problem management, troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, and ensuring the stability and availability of enterprise infrastructure/services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 production support for the respective technology domain.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, services and security platforms and ensure availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests and technical issues within defined SLAs.
- Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to problem management.
- Work on AWS-based infrastructure and cloud services relevant to the assigned domain.
- Develop and maintain automation using Python and/or Ansible to reduce manual operational activities.
- Create and maintain automation scripts, playbooks and operational tools.
- Participate in deployment, patching, upgrades, configuration and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with L1, L3, application, security, network and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, change and problem management processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks and knowledge articles.
- Participate in on-call / rotational support as required.




- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and operational efficiency.

Common Technical Requirements
- Strong experience in AWS and cloud infrastructure.
- Good hands-on experience with Python and/or Ansible.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in enterprise L2 production support / operations.
- Good understanding of monitoring, logging and incident management.
- Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is preferred.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Good knowledge of scripting and automation concepts.
- Experience working in a high-availability production environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Domain-Specific Requirements L2 – Hosting

Strong experience in hosting/infrastructure operations, AWS, server administration and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – Connectivity

Experience in network/connectivity operations, troubleshooting, AWS networking and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – DBA

Strong database administration experience along with AWS, database troubleshooting, performance management and Python/Ansible automation.

L2 – Data Tribe

Experience supporting data platforms/environments, AWS services and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – NetSec

Experience in network security operations, security infrastructure/tools, AWS security and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – IDAM

Experience in Identity & Access Management, authentication/authorization platforms, AWS IAM and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – Malware Tools

Experience supporting enterprise malware/security tools, threat-protection platforms, AWS and automation using Python/Ansible.

L2 – DLP

Experience with Data Loss Prevention solutions, security operations, AWS and automation using Python/Ansible.

Preferred

- AWS certification is an advantage.
- ITIL certification/knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and automation tools.
- Experience in handling P1/P2 production incidents.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
