We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer / Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join our development team in Mohali The ideal candidate should have solid experience building scalable backend applications, APIs, and distributed systems. You should be comfortable working with databases, caching, messaging systems, and modern backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services

- Work with databases and optimize application performance

- Implement caching and high-performance systems using Redis

- Work with messaging and event-driven systems using Kafka

- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members

- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

- Work on scalable and reliable backend architectures

Required Skills

- 5+ years of professional software development experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js





- Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript

- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services

- Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

- Familiarity with Redis

- Familiarity with Apache Kafka

- Working knowledge of Go (Golang)

- Good understanding of backend architecture and system design

- Experience with Git and version control

- Positive debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Experience with Docker

- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

- Understanding of CI/CD

- Experience with high-traffic or distributed applications
