Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in PL/SQL to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable APIs, implement complex business logic, and optimize database interactions in an Oracle environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Core Java and Java-based frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot).

Build and expose RESTful APIs to support business and frontend applications.

Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Work on complex SQL queries and performance tuning in Oracle databases.

Ensure efficient integration between Java applications and Oracle PL/SQL layers.

Handle transaction management, error handling, and logging across application and database layers.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams throughout the SDLC.

Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

Java & Backend:





Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (multithreading, collections, exception handling).

Experience with Spring and Spring Boot for backend development.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Good Understanding of Any Cloud Technology (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.

Experience with JPA/Hibernate or JDBC for database interactions.

Familiarity with application performance tuning and memory management.

PL/SQL & Database:

Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL development in Oracle databases.

Expertise in writing procedures, functions, packages, cursors, and exception handling.

Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

Understanding of transactional control, bulk operations, and database best practices.

Positive-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience in handling large-scale, high-volume transactional systems.

Knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
