Sr. Manager / AGM NPD Costing & RFQ Management

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced skilled to lead RFQ Estimation, Costing, and Commercial Negotiations for automotive products. The candidate will independently manage the complete RFQ lifecycle, from cost estimation and analysis to customer negotiations, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and profitable quotations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end RFQ estimation, costing, and customer quotations.
- Prepare accurate product and process cost estimations for new business opportunities.
- Develop and validate machine hour rates, BOM costing, and investment calculations.
- Drive cost optimization, benchmarking, and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams for RFQ execution.




- Review product costing and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead customer and supplier commercial negotiations.
- Establish SOPs and best practices for costing, budgeting, and cost control.

Desired Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automobile preferred).
- 12-18 years of experience in automotive costing, estimation, and RFQ management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, 2D drawings, and cost analysis.
- Proven experience in customer negotiations and team leadership.

Preferred: Experience with Tier-1 Automotive OEM suppliers and plastic component costing.
