Role SummaryThe Senior Executive – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring reliable electrical operations at the AAC Blocks manufacturing plant. The role focuses on preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring power reliability, equipment uptime, and compliance with electrical safety standards to support uninterrupted production. This position plays a key role in maintaining plant efficiency and electrical system reliability at Magicrete’s AAC manufacturing operations.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems
- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, drives, and control systems
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and minimal electrical downtime
Automation & • Control Systems
- Maintain PLC systems, VFDs, sensors, and control panels
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in production and material handling equipment
- Support process automation and electrical system upgrades
- Monitor power consumption and support energy optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical inspections and safety standards
- Maintain documentation related to electrical audits and certifications
Team & • Contractor Supervision
- Supervise electricians and electrical technicians
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and AMC activities
- Ensure safe execution of electrical maintenance work
Coordination & • Reporting
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, and EHS teams
- Maintain electrical logs, breakdown reports, and KPI dashboards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering may be considered with relevant experience
Experience & • Industry Background
- 4-6 years of experience in plant electrical maintenance
- Experience in AAC, cement, manufacturing, or continuous process industries preferred
Skills & • Competencies
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and HT/LT systems
- Understanding of electrical safety and statutory compliance
- Problem-solving and analytical capability
- Team coordination and execution discipline
