Senior Accountant Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with accounting software and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Perform bank, ledger, and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Prepare financial reports, management reports, and variance analysis.

- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.

- Monitor receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flow.

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

- Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documentation.





- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.

- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.

- Guide junior accountants and review their work where required.

- Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

- 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience;

experience in a senior accounting role preferred.

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

- Good understanding of reconciliations, month-end closing, and statutory compliance.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- CA/CPA/ACCA

Pay: ₹14,427.57 - ₹45,748.48 per month
