What You’ll Be Doing
- Work closely on the business development and growth side of PlayStat.ai within the sports ecosystem
- Build and maintain relationships with racquet sports tournament organisers across Bengaluru
- Identify and onboard new tournaments onto PlayStat.ai
- Develop partnerships with academies, clubs, sports facilities, institutions, and communities
- Drive adoption of PlayStat.ai within the local racquet sports ecosystem
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across academies, tournament organisers, and other potential partners
- Generate qualified leads and manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and product demonstrations to follow-ups, negotiations, contracting, and closure
- Take end-to-end ownership of commercial discussions, including presenting proposals, handling objections, negotiating pricing, and closing deals
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, customer acquisition, and partnership targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Conduct on-ground meetings, tournament visits, and partnership discussions
- Coordinate client onboarding,
product adoption, and ongoing engagement with internal teams
- Work closely with product, marketing, tech, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and user experience
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvement and business strategy
- Maintain accurate sales records and report pipeline, performance, and revenue updates
- Represent PlayStat.ai at tournaments, sporting events, and industry interactions
Who We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in any racquet sport (badminton, tennis, squash, etc.) is preferred
- Basic understanding of sports tournaments and how they operate
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- A confident and proactive approach towards business development and partnerships
- Self-driven and comfortable with on-ground work and meeting potential partners
- Ability to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, and convert them into partnerships
- Passion for sports and interest in building within the sports-tech ecosystem
- Previous experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or sports-related roles will be an advantage
