Role Description

Note: This position is strictly open to applicants based in the Chandigarh Tricity — Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula.

This is an on-site Special Educator role focused specifically on working with neurodivergent children. The Special Educator will be responsible for providing individualized educational and developmental support, implementing intervention plans, monitoring progress, and working collaboratively with the therapy team to address each child’s specific needs.

The role involves working closely with child psychologists, therapists, and parents to support children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental needs. The Special Educator is expected to maintain a patient, structured, and child-centered approach while following professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

- 6 working days a week
- Tuesday is the weekly off
- Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- This is a full-time, in office role

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of child development and neurodevelopmental needs
- Experience or strong interest in working with neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD




- Ability to plan and implement individualized learning and developmental goals
- Familiarity with structured teaching and evidence-based intervention approaches
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and caregivers
- Patience, empathy, and emotional sensitivity while working with children
- Ability to observe, document, and communicate children’s progress effectively
- Ability to follow structured routines, intervention plans, and professional protocols

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Prior experience in special education, inclusive education, child therapy, or developmental settings
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or developmental delays
- Familiarity with IEPs/individualized intervention plans
- Exposure to behavioral, developmental, or play-based intervention approaches
