Role Description This is a full time, on-site Special Educator role based in Delhi, India.

The Special

Educator will identify and support learners with diverse educational needs, including disabilities, through individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored classroom strategies.

Responsibilities include collaborating with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and assessments, delivering specialized instruction, and monitoring student progress. The role involves maintaining detailed documentation, conducting assessments,



and engaging with families to discuss student needs and progress.

The Special

Educator will also participate in school-wide initiatives to promote inclusion, conduct awareness sessions for staff and students, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Special Education and experience working with learners with disabilities.
- Proven teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level, with the ability to differentiate instruction.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with learners, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field; relevant certifications in inclusive education are an advantage.
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and guidelines, particularly related to inclusive and remedial education.
- Ability to conduct educational assessments and develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong organizational skills, patience, empathy, and a learner-centered approach.
- Comfort working in a school environment and participating in training, workshops, and parent meetings.
