Position: Solar Site Engineer

Location: Jamui, Bhagalpur

Experience: 2–5 years in Solar PV projects

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor solar PV project execution at site as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate installation of module mounting structures (MMS), solar modules, DC/AC cabling, inverter, earthing, lightning protection, fencing, and other electrical works.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, method statements, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, supervisors, and manpower for smooth project execution.
- Monitor daily work progress and prepare DPR/WPR .
- Check material availability and coordinate with the store/procurement team for timely material deployment.
- Inspect workmanship and identify/close quality issues, punch points, and site deviations.
- Coordinate with the design team for technical queries, drawing revisions, and site requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning, synchronization, and handover of the solar plant.
- Maintain proper project documentation including checklists, inspection reports, as-built drawings, test reports,



and handover documents.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and HSE standards.
- Coordinate with the client, consultant, and internal project team for site-related activities.
- Monitor project schedule and support timely completion of project milestones.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Solar PV plant construction and electrical installation.
- Knowledge of DC/AC systems, HT/LT systems, inverter, transformer, SCADA, earthing and protection systems.
- Ability to read and understand SLD, electrical drawings, layout drawings and cable schedules.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and MS Project will be an advantage.
- Valuable coordination, communication and site-management skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and multiple site activities.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics,
