About Us

KRISHNA CONTRACTOR is a solar EPC firm and TATA Authorized Distributor in Chhattisgarh. We execute residential rooftop projects under PM Surya Ghar, along with commercial and industrial solar installations. We are hiring a Solar Engineer who can prepare solar drawings, plan materials, and supervise installations from site survey through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities - Conduct site surveys, take roof measurements, and assess shading and installation feasibility.

- Prepare solar panel layouts, mounting structure layouts, string numbering, cable routes, earthing layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).

- Select suitable panels, inverters, cables, and protection equipment, supported by design calculations.

- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), quantity estimates, and material requirements.

- Coordinate with structural engineers for roof suitability and mounting structure design.

- Guide installation teams and check that work follows approved drawings, quality requirements, and safety procedures.





- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely material availability.

- Manage progress across multiple sites and report delays or technical issues.

- Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover documentation.

- Explain technical details clearly to customers and resolve installation queries.

Qualifications & Skills - Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - Hands-on experience in solar rooftop design and site execution. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel. - Understanding of string sizing, inverter selection, cable sizing, earthing, and electrical protection. - Ability to independently prepare and explain solar project drawings. - Good communication skills in Hindi; ability to read technical documents in English. -

Willingness to travel to project sites across Chhattisgarh.

Preferred - Experience with commercial or industrial rooftop solar projects. - Knowledge of PVsyst, SketchUp, or similar solar design tools. - Familiarity with PM Surya Ghar documentation and DISCOM/net-metering processes.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
