About the Role The Social Continent is looking for an experienced Software Engineer who can independently build, deploy, and maintain production-ready software. The candidate will be responsible for developing new features, improving existing applications, and solving technical and production issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade software.
- Take ownership of software modules from requirement to deployment.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Debug and resolve production issues and technical problems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and other teams to deliver features.
- Contribute to application architecture, scalability, and security.

Required Skills





- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java / Python / Node.js / TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and backend development.
- Good knowledge of SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of HLD/LLD, system design, and scalable architecture.
- Experience working on live/production applications.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

- React.js / Angular / Vue.js
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Docker and CI/CD
- Microservices
- Redis / Kafka or other messaging systems

Preferred Candidate Candidates from product-based companies, SaaS, EdTech, FinTech, or technology startups with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying software products will be preferred.
